Tumble Tots. Part 2
And a good 45 min. spent doing an obstacle course and jumping on the air track. Awe... life is good :-)
Tumble Tots.
Before gymnastics starts, you like to play with this toy in the ymca lobby. I have a really hard time prying you away from this when it's time to go.
To Gi Gi's House We Go. Part 9
Grandma is trying to read the box of ingredients to Callie. I was really happy to see that a polly hydrogenated something was not one of the first 3 ingredients and I was doubly thrilled to see that it wasn't even listed on the box.
To Gi Gi's House We Go. Part 4
Love this one. She insisted on carring her puzzles for a couple blocks down to our next stop, "Chesi Jo's Baby Botique." Mom choose a pair of hot pink mary jane shoes that squeak when you walk, only I took the squeakers out because they would drive your dad insane.
To Gi Gi's House We Go. Part 3
Our first stop was a toy store called "The Cat and the Fiddle." Callie choose a puzzle and Gi Gi choose another puzzle. Great choices because Callie is really into puzzles right now.
To Gi Gi's House We Go. Part 2
My grandmother decided that it was my turn for a photo. She mentioned over Christmas, that I'm not in a lot of the photos. That's because I'm always the one taking the photos. Great job with this one Grandma. I love it!
To Gi Gi's House We Go.
Yesterday, I packed up Callie and we headed out the door for Grandma's house in Grants Pass. When I talked to her on the phone yesterday morning, she didn't sound very good. She mentioned she was having problems getting her heart to regulate. She took some meds and by the time we arrived, she was feeling much better. Insert a big sigh of relief from me. I'm feeling this big need to spend as much time as possible with them, because I know that someday they won't be around. I want my children to remember them and I want them to remember just how much they love you girls. They are such a big part of my life and who I am and who I want to be.
It was such a fantastic day after I arrived around 10am. My grandmother was feeling good enough for a short shopping trip that included lots of photos. Oh, how I love these photos and I'm so happy that my kids will have these around forever to remember.

Ear Piercing.
McKenzie has been wanting to get her ears pierced... so one day after school, (and this posting is just a little late because she got them pierce on January 14th) I took her down to the mall as a surprise and told her to pick out a pair of studs. She happily (with the help of the sales lady) choose a pair of studs with her birthstone (garnet)... Lovely... (insert smile from mom).
My 2 Beautiful Loves.
Oh, how I love you two. I wish I could be home more but hopefully one day, you will appreciate what I have done so you can have the wonderful life you have right now. Maybe one day, you will truely appreciale just how lucky you are and all the unlimited possibilities that lay ahead in your future.
I have found some quotes while exploring the internet and I have found this one that I really like by Souza... I really hope that you can apply this in your every day life and maybe I can too.
"For a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin... real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. This perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So treasure every moment you have and remember that time waits for no one."
