The Impressionable Years II
Local artist, Susan Moulder came into my daughters second grade class at Bellview Elementary taught by Miss Laura Rogers and helped replicate a painting originally done by Claude Monet called "Chrysanthemums." This project took several months to complete and was so much fun.
Miss Rogers will often give a "morning message" to her class and this is one that really moved me and one that I should follow by.
"Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall." Woww!!

Wii
McKenzie was playing her Wii when she got home from school today, while I was doing some dishes and laundry that were piling up. I've been working on a slide show for McKenzie's second grade class of photos that I've taken throughout the school year. I had so many problems that I ran into. It took a couple of trips to Circuit City in Medford to have one of there computer techs help me. Two days later, I finally have a finished project to present tomorrow for all the kids and parents to view. I can't wait to see all their faces light up tomorrow when they see themselves. I really enjoy doing this kind of project but I ran into so many problems trying to add the cd music that I had selected. One of my goals, is to play around with my Pinnacle program or another program until I get comfortable enough that I don't feel like pulling all my hair out.
Callie on the other hand, was getting into something she shouldn't be getting into as usual. Why can't she just play with her own toys? She insists on getting into things she very well knows she shouldn't. I'll pick her up and tell her "no" but seconds later, she's back at it again.
McKenzie brought home her school year book and I was very proud to see a lot of the pics that I took of her class were in the book I love my photography and I get such great satisfaction in documenting my families life and those of the ones I love and care about.

A Late Birthday For Callie
It was a great afternoon. Gi Gi and Great Grandpa came up for a late birthday celebration for Callie. We had Hot Dogs and a Three Bean Bake and cupcakes too. Here's some photos of the guys putting a trampoline together we got for the girls. Some photos of my beautiful kids frosting the cupcakes and a picture of our cat, Jasper trying to get the fake bird inside the cage. Your great-grandparents got this for you. If you clap your hands, it activates the bird to make chirping noises and he went crazy over this. I am so looking forward to spending more time with my grandparents this summer.

Callie Turns 3!
Bean Please!
You love the beans they top your smoothie with. Stopped by the Human Bean in Ashland yesterday and I'll ask you what kind of smoothie you want and you say "strawbree smoodee please." You can have such nice manners at times.
You got you sisters trundle bed today and your gigi and grandpa also came up and put together McKenzie's new bunk bed. Callie thought her "big girl bed" was a trampoline.
Finally!
